Intensive training camps for athletes and practical clinics for coaches. Since 2013 we have run them in Europe and Africa, both as stand-alone events and as part of international projects.
Formats
3 to 7 days to launch finswimming where it is new: daily pool sessions and theory lessons on technique, equipment and training models, for beginners, swimming coaches and clubs opening a finswimming section. Demo equipment available.
A weekend at your club: we coach your athletes alongside your coaches, followed by briefings and theory lessons, so your staff keeps the method after we leave.
5 to 7 days of pool and dry-land training, video technique analysis and race preparation for young athletes and masters.
In October 2024 Fiona Summerell, a masters swimmer from Australia, spent a month training with us in Zagreb: daily pool sessions with Komet's coaches, monofin and bi-fins technique, starts and turns, and race preparation. At the end of the month she raced at the Mermaids for Inclusion event in Sarajevo, under the Australian flag. We can organise a similar stay for you: training plan, sessions with our club, and help with accommodation in Zagreb.
Since 2013
A selection of the camps and clinics we have led, from club clinics in Spain to the first finswimming camps in East Africa.
The final multiplier sport event of the project: 68 athletes from 10 clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia and Australia, more than half of them women, including 6 swimmers with disabilities.
